This packet of seasoning is perfect for making a Beer Can Chicken. The seasoning can also be used for seasoning any chicken or pork cut. As the name suggests, there is a bit of a kick to this seasoning due to the cayenne and black pepper ingredients.
Directions: Rub into your favorite cut of chicken or pork. Cook as desired. Directions for Beer Can Chicken: Rinse and pat dry one 4-5 pound chicken. Brush the chicken lightly with olive oil and season with 2 T. rub. Sprinkle the remaining rub inside the cavity. Place the cavity end of the chicken over a beer can that has ¼ c. of liquid removed and an extra hole punched in the top. Grill or smoke until thermometer reads 165F in thigh (1 – 1.5 hours). |
